"Help Ronnie Wrestle Cancer" Softball Tournament

Eight softball teams and the Adrian community joined together to “Help Ronnie Wrestle Cancer” on Saturday, July 18, 2009 for the 2nd Annual Coed Softball Tournament at the Adrian City Park. The benefit was organized to help the Ronnie Hough Family pay for his ongoing medical expenses.
With an overwhelming show of support for Ronnie and his family, the tournament brought in nearly $2,000. Tournament Coordinator Tammy Fisher shared: “I witnessed two people who came out to the fundraiser strictly to donate monies, nothing else. They weren’t participating in the ballgames, and they didn’t have anyone playing in them. They just came to make a donation! It was truly a heartfelt and very touching thing to see.”
