Promising season for Lady Blackhawks

As volleyball teams begin their seasons around the area, none is more promising than that of our very own Adrian Lady Blackhawks. With high hopes and a hunger for victory, the girls are setting out to prove themselves, and last week was instrumental to that goal.

Tuesday evening brought the entire team to the gym for the junior varsity’s double duel with Miami and Archie. Although no stats were taken for these games, Adrian came out on top in both matches, and the girls are excited to work towards improving themselves and winning more games.

On Thursday, the varsity traveled to Drexel for a double duel that also involved Miami. Coach Carver had nothing but good things to say. “This was a very exciting game to watch. We had to be ready to move our feet and play all the time. There were some long rallies where I saw some really good things happen. I am very proud of the team!”
