To play in Lions All-Star Game

Austin Erickson (right) and Keenan Morrow (far right), graduating seniors from Adrian R-III High School, will be among the 48 players selected to play in the 1st Annual Lions District 26-M5 All-Star Basketball Games. The games will be held Saturday, June 12, starting at 6:00 p.m. in Missouri Valley College Volney Ashford Gymnasium in Marshall, Mo.

The North is the Purple squad which will be coached by Jim Stoner of Higginsville and Oak Grove’s Jerry Girdner. The Gold, or South team, are coached by LaMonte’s Rod Baxter and Adrian’s James Wheeler.

The girls will play at 6 p.m. followed by the boys game at 8. Tickets will be available at the door for $5.00 each. The Lions All-Star games help raise funds for the Lions Foundation and other service programs around the world.
