A pair of wins for the Blackhawks at Midway
Last Tuesday the Lady Blackhawks took on the Midway Vikings in another conference matchup. This game started very slow with neither team getting into double digits in the first quarter. Adrian was ahead after one, 8-4. The night only got better for the girls. Adrian outscored and outplayed Midway in this one, going on to win big, 48-13.
This win pushes Adrian’s record to 22 wins and 2 losses on the year. Adrian Coach Nathan Dingman commented, “We came out slow but hit our stride in the second and third quarters.”
The Adrian boys continued conference play against the Midway Vikings. Both teams came out shooting the ball well, and after one quarter of play Adrian was ahead 19-11. Midway made a run late in the game but came up short in this one as Adrian went on to win 60-53.
This win moves Adrian’s record to 21 wins and 3 losses on the year. Adrian Coach James Wheeler commented, “We struggled shooting in the second half. We did some good things throughout the game. We know we need to get better. Every game is a learning experience. The boys continue to play hard.”
