Adrian High School Senior Tylor McDonald has signed with Baker University in Baldwin City, KS to play football on a 4-year scholarship. He will play linebacker. Tylor said, “I am really excited for the opportunity to play in college. Thank you to the Adrian coaches for everything they have done to get me ready to play in college.”

True to his nature, Adrian Head Coach George Bruto offered words of encouragement and support to Tylor during the signing on February 8, 2011. “Tylor will make them a good ball player. He will have to learn a new system and complete a weight program 24/7. He will make a good player. They have a good coaching staff over there and I look for him to do well. He’ll have to stay with it but he has the smarts and will do well.”

Coach Bruto concluded, “The Blackhawks will have a big hole to fill next year, we’ll miss Tylor. But it’s always neat to see a ball player from here go on. He’ll do fine, he just needs to stay after it.”
