McCarl signs with Hannibal-LaGrange University

Bobby McCarl has had a long history of wrestling in Adrian, finishing in 2nd place at the State Wrestling Meet in Columbia earlier this year. On Friday, April 29, 2011, Bobby signed with Hannibal-LaGrange University in Hannibal, MO on a 4-year wrestling scholarship. Only a few wrestlers in Adrian’s history have received a wrestling scholarship upon graduation. Bobby said, “I’m looking forward to it. It will be a life-changing experience.” Head Wrestling Coach Ryan Campbell believes this scholarship is well-earned. “I am super proud of Bobby. We talk about deserving things and earning things. This is something he earned. I am so proud of him and wish him the best.”

Bobby plans to major in Criminal Justice.
