Lady Blackhawks volleyball has four game winning streak

The Adrian Lady Blackhawks traveled to Sherwood Monday, September 13 and defeated the Lady Marksmen in two games. In the first game the Lady Blackhawks took control and won easily 25-8. The second game proved to be a lot closer, but Adrian held on to take a 25-21 win. Coach Huckaby stated, “Wow! The girls played the best I have seen them play yet. They moved as a team, talked as a team and looked like a team. They were calm and made playing volleyball look easy. They were definitely in control of the pace of the game.
On Tuesday, September 14 the Lady Blackhawks traveled to Butler. Adrian took the match in two, 25-20 and 25-19. “We played really good” said Coach Huckaby. “There were a few times we looked a little off, but they did a really good job pulling back together quickly.”
In their third game of the week, the Adrian Lady Blackhawks hosted the Ballard Lady Bulldogs. In this match, Adrian defeated Ballard in two, 25-17, 25-23. This win puts their match record at 7-4. On Monday, September 20 Adrian hosted Lakeland and defeated the Lady Vikings 25-18, 25-5.
