Lady Blackhawks varsity volleyball team struggles

Yet another week has passed, bringing another round of games for the Adrian volleyball team. Unfortunately, it brought no success for the varsity, although the junior varsity had nothing but.

On Tuesday, the team traveled to Osceola. The JV squad played a good game and won. The varsity, however, struggled and lost their match.

On Thursday, the team played at Drexel. Again, the JV was victorious. Unfortunately, the varsity was not and was defeated by the Bobcats.

The Lady Blackhawks play again as the Adrian Journal goes to press on Tuesday, October 13 against Rich Hill on their home court. They play again at home against the Lady Whirlwinds on Thursday, October 15. The WEMO Conference Volleyball Tournament for the Lady Blackhawks varsity squad is Saturday, October 17 in Archie.
