Olivia Case scored a game high 12 points, hitting 3 of 7 from the field as Adrian defeated Barstow 52-31 at the Midway tournament Thursday night. Brenna Tallman and Emily Hughes each scored 11 points. “We played an outstanding defensive game. We were patient with the ball on offense and had a pretty good night” commented Coach Dingman.

The Adrian Lady Blackhawks went up against the number one seed Archie Lady Whirlwinds on Saturday night at the Midway Tournament. Adrian was seek-ing revenge as Archie had just recently defeated them in conference play and they did just that as they won the tournament by the score of 36 to 30.

Coach Dingman commented on the game, “We had a good game defensively as we only allowed 9 points in the whole second half and only 2 points in the 3rd quarter. It was a great game.” The Lady Blackhawks were 43% from the floor and went 4 of 11 from the free throw line for 36%.
