Lady Blackhawks post 17-4 victory over Lady Whirlwinds

On Monday evening, May 4 the Adrian Lady Blackhawks celebrated Senior Night as they hosted the Archie Lady Whirlwinds. The two Lady Blackhawks softball seniors being honored were Becca Lawrence and Kaitlin Hendrick. The girls’ record is 9 wins and 4 losses.
In five innings of play, Adrian blew past Archie by a score of 17 to 4. Makenzi Adams was the winning pitcher. Coach Terry Hubbard said, “We didn’t play too bad considering we had not played in a week. The girls hit the ball well. We need to keep getting better at making defensive decision making. The girls play hard and that is fun to watch and coach. I appreciate their hard work and I think it is paying off for them.”
