With the start of another school year at Adrian R-3 came the start of another volleyball season. As tradition holds, a hairspray game was held at the school at 6:00 last Tuesday evening to kick off the start of the games.

Hair aside, the games themselves left the players ready for more. After three games played with the teams divided in various orders, it is clear that the team and coaches are looking to accomplish positive things this season. With last year’s record leaving much to be desired, these ladies are ready to step up the intensity and show not only themselves but the community how talented they really are.

“After watching the hairspray game, I am really excited to see how we stand up to other teams,” stated head coach, Erin Carver. “I saw some really good things. Everyone seems to be excited to get out there and compete, as am I.”
