Lady Blackhawks end season with first round District loss

The Adrian Lady Blackhawks’ basketball season came to an end Monday night, February 28. They were defeated in the first round of district play, 37 to 44, by the Holden Lady Eagles. The Lady Blackhawks ended their season with an overall record of 18-6.

Coach Dingman said, “You never want a season to end. These girls came ready to play and it showed with the first quarter score. We just could not hit any baskets after that. Holden played good defense all night long and we just could not stop their push of scoring and good defense.”
