Lady Blackhawks defeat Drexel

The Adrian Lady Blackhawks softball team traveled to Drexel Tuesday, April 6. They defeated the Lady Bobcats 15 to 0 in four innings. Kaley Keating recorded a shut out in four innings, striking out 7. Megan Lewis came in and pitched one inning, striking out 2.

Coach Hubbard commented, “The girls played very well on offense and defense. Kaley Keating threw a no hitter with 7 strike outs in 4 innings. Amber Chamberlain led the offense with 3 hits, a single, double and a home run. She also had 4 RBIs. Nichole Cogbill also went 2 for 4 with a home run. We had 12 hits in 4 innings which I thought was extremely good for us. Every starter had a hit in the game.”
