The championship of the Archie Tournament was rescheduled for Saturday night, February 8 as the Lady Blackhawks went up against the Archie Lady Whirlwinds. It was a good game between two evenly matched teams, but unfortunately for the Lady Blackhawks, they fell short by the score of 61 to 55. “It was a good game between two good teams. We now have to learn how to stay composed down the stretch,” commented Coach Basore. With this loss, the Lady Blackhawks took 2nd in the Archie Tournament.

After a lay off due to the weather, the Lady Blackhawks were back in action on Friday night as they traveled to Appleton City. Adrian moved their conference record to a perfect 4-0 with a 56 to 25 victory over the Lady Bulldogs. Coach Basore said, “We got off to a slow start. It was a good game to get our legs back underneath us.”
