Kimble Anders hosts football camp

Area youth, ages 6-16 were afforded the opportunity to participate in a unique, non-contact football camp at Memorial Stadium in Harrisonville. Former KC Chiefs three-time Pro-Bowl Fullback Kimble Anders and his experienced staff offered one-on-one instruction in areas such as passing, receiving, running, blocking and tackling. Because football is a team game, each individual learned to operate within the team concept.
Along with the basic football skills, each camper was professionally trained and tested in the areas of speed, strength and agility in order to maximize the development of their overall ability. Youngsters also received lunch and a souvenir t-shirt. The camp was hosted by the First Baptist Church in Harrisonville.
