Gun Club takes second at state

On June 12, 13, and 14 the Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) state contest took place at the United Sportsman’s Club in Jefferson City, MO. Conrad Walley (back row, far right) Shoots with the Pioneer Gun Club of Holden, MO. And his team placed second in the Jr. Division. Shooting events for YHEC are Black powder rifle, 22, rifle, archery and shotgun. Brain games events are hunter responsibility, Orienteering, wildlife ID and hunter safety trail. Individually Conrad tied for first in black powder, received third place in 22 rifle and was sixth overall in the Jr. Division.
