Eight Blackhawk thinclads advance to Class 2 Sectionals

The Adrian track teams had a successful week last week after competing in the WEMO Conference track meet at Archie and then traveling to Midway on Saturday for the Class 2 District meet.At conference, the boys track team was able to bring home eight top 3 finishes. Those placing in the top three were: Justin Hough, first place in the 3200M run with a time of 11:22.77 and third place in the 1600M with a time of 5:07.68; Russell Hahs, second in the 300M Hurdles with a time of 44.02, and third place in the 110M Hurdles with a time of 17.26; the 4x200M Relay team made up of Tyler Lincoln, Erik White, Jimmy Ray, and Vincent Gray took third with a time of 148.33; Matt Dickerson, third place in shot put with a put of 40' 11 3/4"; Matthew Miller, third in discus with a throw of 126'4"; and Skyler Kariker took third in pole vault clearing 9'6".
