Courtwarming victory for the Adrian Blackhawks

The Adrian Blackhawks posted a 65 to 50 conference win over the Drexel Bobcats Tuesday, February 15 at home. Their conference record now stands at 1-1 and they have an overall record of 9-8.

On Thursday the Blackhawks made the trip to Montrose for non-conference play. They posted a 53 to 33 victory over the BlueJays. “The kids played hard and everyone got to gain experience,” commented Coach Basore.

Friday, February 18 was Adrian’s Courtwarming as they hosted the Rich Hill Tigers. All of the excitement and activity didn’t affect the Blackhawks as they easily won the contest 56 to 27.

To begin the night the Junior Varsity Blackhawks defeated Rich Hill 32 to 14. In the first half Adrian scored 17 to the Tigers’ 9 and in the second half the Blackhawks outscored the Tigers 15 to 5. Coach Hubbard said, “Our team did a great job of playing defense and playing together on offense. Good team win for us on Courtwarming night in front of a great crowd.”
