Close game for Lady Blackhawks

Adrian took on the Crest Ridge Cougars in their second round of the Midway tournament. Adrian was the number one seed in the tournament, while Crest Ridge was the number four seed, so this was sure to be a good one. After three quarters Adrian had a slim lead, 35-34. Adrian pulled it together in the fourth quarter and went on to win 49-41.
This win moves Adrian’s record to 18 wins and 2 losses. Adrian Coach Nathan Dingman commented, “It was a hard fought game. We came out flat and managed to tie the game at the end of the first quarter. Becca had a great game. Our defense played well. We just had too many turnovers.”
