Blackhawks win 1st Round of District Tourney

The Adrian boys started their district tournament off on Monday with a game against the Osceola Indians. Adrian was ranked the number 1 seed in the tournament, while Osceola was ranked number 8. This game started out with everything going Adrian’s way and by the end of the first quarter Adrian had a huge lead, 36-8. The Blackhawks came out after the half and continued to outplay Osceola, going on to win 80-15.
This game was over before it began. Adrian’s record improves to 23 wins and 3 losses on the year. This was a great start to the Blackhawks post-season play. Adrian Coach James Wheeler commented, “We will continue to work hard in practice, and prepare for the post-season.”
