Blackhawks post two wins for a 9-0 record

Tuesday, April 21, the Adrian Blackhawks baseball team hosted the Ballard Bulldogs. After 5 innings of play Adrian defeated Ballard 11 to 1. Ivan Wendleton was the winning pitcher. Coach Dingman said, “We came out slow with 2 errors in the first innings, but finished well the rest of the game.”
On Thursday, April 23 the Blackhawks hosted Jayhawk-Linn and scored an 11 to 8 victory. Their record now stands at 9-0. Austin Erickson was the winning pitcher. “The team came out slow with some errors in the first couple of innings. Had a big inning in the bottom of the 3rd and came back for the win. Austin broke the game open with a 2 run homerun and Tolle added 4 RBI’s in the tight game” said Coach Dingman.
