The championship action was kicked off Saturday night with the Osceola girls beating Adrian 74-41. Osceola just could not miss in this game. Coach Nathan Dingman said, “We just could not stop them. We had a cold night on offense.”
The Adrian boys took on the Archie Whirlwinds in the championship game. Adrian held the lead throughout the third quarter but Archie would not quit and came back in the fourth quarter to steal a victory, 61-57. Both coaches said it was a hard fought game where both teams played very well. They also said that both teams shot the ball very well.
