Blackhawks open 2010-11 season in WEMO tournament

The Adrian Blackhawks boys and girls varsity teams opened the 2010-2011 season Monday night in the opening round of the WEMO Tournament at Rich Hill. The Lady Blackhawks went up against the Appleton City Lady Bulldogs at 4:30, defeating them 57-25. The boys played the Midway Vikings and came away with a 59-51 victory. Both teams will play Thursday night, girls beginning at 7:30 and the boys at 9:00. See complete stats in next week’s Adrian Journal.
