Blackhawks move to 5-0 with win over Butler

The Adrian Blackhawks hosted the Butler Bears on Friday, December 11 in non-conference action. Adrian took the victory 54 to 42 to move their overall record to 5-0.
In the first quarter Adrian put up 13 points to Butler’s 11. Adrian took a slim 21 to 20 lead into halftime. The Blackhawks came out strong in the second half of play as they scored 12 in the third quarter and held Butler to only 4 points. In the final quarter Adrian poured in 21 points but also allowed the Bears 18. Coach Wheeler said, “This was a solid win for our team. We hope to build on this one. Austin had a nice game and Keenan’s fourth quarter helped push us over the top. I also thought we played better defensively.”
The Blackhawks played Sherwood on Monday night. This was the last game of the year. Adrian will be back in action on January 5 when they host the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs.
