Blackhawks host Appleton City for 2013 Courtwarming

The Adrian Lady Blackhawks played two conference games last week. On Tuesday, January 29 Adrian traveled to Archie and were defeated 45 to 38. Coach Amy Basore said, “It was a hard fought game all the way through.” The boys team was defeated 43 to 34. Coach Tyson Basore stated, “The boys played hard, we just couldn’t get shots to fall.”

Friday night was Adrian’s Courtwarming and they hosted the Appleton City Bulldogs. The Lady Blackhawks took the victory 41 to 21. Adrian’s overall record is 10-10 and their conference record is 4-1. “We started out pretty sluggish” commented Coach Amy Basore, “But with the win it brought us to a 4-1 record in conference.” The Blackhawks were able to secure a 61 to 52 victory. “The boys played hard and got to the free throw line a lot” commented Coach Tyson Basore. Adrian’s overall record stands at 8-12 and 2-3 in conference play.
