Blackhawks falter at Orrick

The Adrian Blackhawks split their season record to 1-1 after falling to Orrick Friday night, 22-44.

Adrian played a close first quarter posting 6 points of their own and allowing Orrick just one touchdown and a successful two point conversion. The Blackhawks trailed in the second quarter as the defense was unable to stop the Orrick Bearcats. Adrian went in to the locker room trailing Orrick, 24-14.

Adrian couldn’t find their momentum in the second half as they allowed the Bearcats to post another 20 points and only found the endzone once after Tyler Tolle was able to connect on a pass to Andrew Underwood.

Adrian continues their season this Friday at home as they take on the Tipton Cardinals. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
