Blackhawks fall to Archie; Win over Northeast Vernon

The Adrian Blackhawks traveled to Archie last Tuesday to take on the Whirlwinds in the second game of their 2007 baseball season. The Blackhawks battled through and with the tieing run on second in the top of the seventh, Adrian fell short to the Whirlwinds by one, ending the game 3-4. Adrian moves their record to 0-2 for the season. The Blackhawks continued their season Monday night as they hosted Northeast Vernon County. The Blackhawks picked up their offensive game in the bottom of the fourth inning as they went on a five run rally to take the lead. Adrian held on for two more innings to take their first season victory over Northeast Vernon County, 5-2. Adrian will continue their season this weekend as they travel to Hume for a tournament.
