A Blackhawks end-of-the-regular season victory sets the tone for Districts



In the first of a four game week, the Blackhawks traveled to Midway and recorded a 61 to 55 conference victory. Coach Basore said, “I thought we played flat but were able to come out with a win.”
On Wednesday Adrian hosted the Bulldogs from Appleton City. They came out with a 56 to 38 win to move their conference record to 4-1 and overall record to 13-8. “The boys came out and played hard in the second half and were able to pull away” commented Coach Basore.
Adrian was again at home on Thursday night, February 24 as they hosted the Osceola Indians. The Blackhawks defeated the Indians 45 to 34.
To finish regular season play the Blackhawks were on the road to Miami. Adrian came away with a 67 to 51 victory as they posted a 6-1 conference record and have an overall record of 15-8. Coach Basore said, “We had several kids step up and play really well.”
