Blackhawks baseball loses in semi finals

The Adrian Blackhawks baseball team competed in district baseball on Tuesday, May 18. They played University Academy and defeated them 15 to 5. Adrian has a 15-2 record. Coach Dingman said, “This is the first time for Adrian to make it to the semi finals of districts. Had a great pitching outing by Luke Hough. We got runs when we needed and did a good job of keeping the pressure on University Academy.”

After having postponements due to the rain, district baseball resumed on Friday, May 21. The Adrian Blackhawks took on the Barstow Knights. They were defeated 13 to 5. Coach Dingman said, “Not the best way to end the year, but we just could not overcome the hole we dug in the early innings. This year was a record setting year for Adrian baseball. 15 wins is the most in a single season and too many other records to mention. I want to wish the best to our Seniors that will be leaving us and hope that our baseball program can continue to grow.”
