Blackhawk tracksters participate at Knob Noster and Prairie View

The Adrian Blackhawks track teams participated in the Knob Noster Invitational Tuesday, April 27. The boys placed 10th overall. Coach Cochran said, “Very good competition today. Several Class 3 and Class 4 teams. We ran some good times, but team wise we just couldn’t compete. Overall I was fairly happy with our performance. It’s good that the kids see this kind of competition sometimes. We also saw some district teams we haven’t seen all year. This was a real good meet for the kids.”

Thursday, April 29 the Blackhawks participated in the Prairie View Invitational. The boys placed 4th. “We ran fairly well today” commented Coach Cochran. “It was an extremely windy day. Times weren’t that great, except the 100m and 200m dashes. We have to begin peaking. Conference and district are coming up and we need to be at the top of our game. Season is almost over, so we have to show what we can do. The kids ran hard today. I was proud of them.”
