Athletes honored at Fall Athletic Reception

The Adrian Blackhawks 2010 Fall Athletic Reception was held last Tuesday, November 23. Don Lile opened the reception by welcoming everyone.

Softball Head Coach Terry Hubbard delivered an emotional speech as he is retiring after 32 years of coaching. Assistant Coach Megan Horton offered congratulations and appreciation, along with the presentation of special awards.

Head Cheerleading Coach Connie Reynolds talked about the accomplishments of this year’s football cheerleading squad. She recognized the girls for their efforts and gave thanks to many, including Assistant Coach Sherri Hough.

Assistant Volleyball Coach Jessie Goddard, on behalf of Head Coach Erin Huckaby, shared highlights of the volleyball season. She then presented special awards.

George Bruto, Head Football Coach, recognized the players and assistant coaches, along with many others. He reviewed the season and congratulated the team for winning the Class 2 District Championships.
