Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!

The long awaited first game at the beautiful new Adrian Athletic Complex is almost here. This Friday night, August 31, the lights will be turned on, the popcorn and hotdogs will be ready and the stadium will be full. The voice of the Blackhawks will be heard loud and clear as game time is set for 7:00 p.m. with pregame festivities beginning around 6:30 p.m.

All of this excitement is possible thanks to many volunteers who have given their time and energy over the last several months. This past weekend was a very busy one as the visitor bleachers were finished, the painting on the locker room was started and the fence was worked on. Concrete bleachers were also poured in the locker room and pads for the propane tanks were completed outside of each building. Goal posts are in place, the sound system is ready and the flag pole will soon be installed. Each evening this week there will be clean up of the area and some finishing touches throughout the complex.
