Adrian youth wrestlers headed to State

Eight Adrian youth wrestlers finished in the top four of their weight classes at Regionals to qualify for the State Meet on March 25-27 in Columbia, MO. Head Coach Jason Chamberlain said, “All of our youth wrestled well this season. The boys going to State will wrestle well and have worked hard, it’s not easy to qualify for State.”

Next weekend these eight wrestlers will represent Adrian at the Youth State Wrestling Meet. Sixth grader Caleb Shanks talked about competing at State. “It’s a great experience walking out when they call your name, and wrestling. Good luck to all of us. La famiglia.” Head Coach Chamberlin said that he and the assistant coaches are pleased that eight of the 11 boys who wrestled at Regionals are advancing to State. “We are very excited as a Club.”
