Adrian wrestlers compete in Warsaw tournament

The Adrian Varsity Wrestling team defeated Pembroke Hill last Tuesday, 66-18. On Saturday they competed in the Warsaw Tournament. The Blackhawks placed 3rd overall. In his first year of Adrian wrestling, Head Coach Ryan Campbell shares his thoughts about the tournament. “There were a lot of our district opponents at the Warsaw Tournament. There was a good showing. Some wrestlers still have some work to do to achieve individual goals, but as a team we are doing okay. The progress is coming along.”

The JV Wrestling Tournament will take place in Adrian this Saturday and the Youth Wrestling Club will host a tournament this Sunday. Adrian wrestlers will compete against O’Hara on Tuesday, January 26 and Lone Jack at home on senior night, Thursday, January 28.
