Adrian Little league hosts Sherwood Marksmen

Adrian hosted the Sherwood Marksmen on Saturday, October 10. This time Jeff Ford, Jeremiah Reynolds and Matt Shannon’s teams played Sherwood. Ford’s team returned the opening kickoff all the way to the Sherwood 7 yard line. Kyler Six ran in a 7 yard touchdown. At the half, Adrian was winning 21-0. Nobody scored in the second half so it was 21-0.

The 3rd and 4th grade game was next and it was expected to be a good game. Adrian received first and scored on a 7 yard run by running back Camiron Tallman. That was the only score of the first half and it was 6-0. Adrian running back Wyatt Reynolds ran a 34 yard touchdown in the third quarter, his first of three for the day. Adrian was victorious, 24-20.

The 5th and 6th grade game started out bad for Adrian. Sherwood scored twice in the first quarter, holding Adrian to two punts. The second quarter was a repeat of the first quarter with the Marksmen scoring twice and Adrian getting held in check. Nobody scored in the second half and the final score was 28-0 in Sherwood’s favor.
