The Adrian Blackhawks hosted the #4 ranked team in the Class 1 football this past week when the Cass Midway Vikings came to town. For Adrian to win they needed to have a dry field, flawless play and a little bit of lucky calls. They did not get any of that and fell to the Vikings 21-0. Play was halted right after kickoff when lightning in the area signaled a storm rolling in. After a two hour weather delay the players took the field and the fans filled the stands to enjoy a pretty good night for football.
