Three Blackhawks traveled to Jefferson City on Friday to compete in the state track meet held at Lincoln University. Coach Cochran commented, “I was really impressed by how the kids were focused this weekend. They really wanted to do well, not just be there. Logan Jennings really got the short end of the stick when track officials disallowed his pole on a technicality. However, he did have another pole to use. Logan Tallman and Austin Corley ran well I thought. Medaling in two events as sophomores is pretty rare. They ran some of their best times of the year. it was a good season.
