Sergeant First Class Matthew Hubbard retires

A retirement ceremony was held for SFC Matthew W. Hubbard on November 10, 2010 at Tidwell Hall, Campbell Army Airfield, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Family who attended the retirement ceremony were his parents Dennis and Sandee Hubbard, brother Steve Hubbard and sister Jenne Bennett, all of Butler; Steve Hubbard, Adrian, MO and Sgt. Major Donald Hubbard, Liberty, MO.

SFC Hubbard entered the Army on January 2, 1991. He attended Basic Training at Fort Dix, New Jersey. After completing Basic Training he attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Eustis, Virginia where he was awarded the MOS 15T, Tactical Transport Helicopter Repairer.

SFC Hubbard has held positions as Squad Leader, Section Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Platoon Flight Instructor, Company Stan-dardization NCO, Battalion Standardization NCO, and Battalion Master Gunner.

SFC Hubbard is married to Lori of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and they have three children, Dakota, Gage, and Olivia. They reside in Clarksville, Tennessee. He is the son of Dennis and Sandee Hubbard of Butler, MO and the grandson of Ann Taylor, Butler and Fay O’Riley and the late Kenneth Hubbard of Adrian.

Matt has taken a position with a civilian company at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and will continue to train crew chiefs for the Army.
