Participates in March For Babies

Twenty-three family and friends of Presleigh and Noah Saathoff participated in the March for Babies in downtown Kansas City on Sunday, May 4. The “March” is held annually, and is the largest fundraising event for the March of Dimes. Their team appreciates all who donated and helped them raise over $1,200 for the March of Dimes.

Presleigh and Noah are twins that were born 4 months early at 24 weeks gestation, each weighing a pound and a half. They spent 3 ½ months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, enduring surgeries and other medical procedures. Together, Presleigh and Noah went from babies that each had a 20 percent chance of surviving their first 24 hours, to very healthy and happy 7 year olds. Their “adventure” is the reason their parents get their team together to walk every year in the March for Babies. They realize that without the research that is conducted by the March of Dimes and the advancements that have resulted, Presleigh and Noah, along with countless other children, would not be here today.
