Emotions run high at an Adrian landmark

Adrian resident and Vietnam veteran Steve Hubbard, his wife Donna and their children and grandchildren attended the Delta Company reunion on June 24, 2011 in Kansas City, MO. Steve was a member of the 1/12 Infantry, 4th Infantry Division of Delta Company in Vietnam.
This reunion was one of raw emotion as the members of the 1/12 infantry were greeted by the brother and two friends of a fallen soldier from their unit. Larry Paulsen died in action on June 5, 1969. For the first time since Larry’s passing, his brother Ken Paulsen and friends Howie Odden and Alf Martagan came to the reunion.
Ken said, “There are tremendous people here in Adrian to build such a beautiful Memorial.”
