Blackhawks take third in Pleasant Hill Tournament

The Adrian Blackahwks Wrestling team participated in the Pleasant Hill tournament December 3 and 4. This is the first time Adrian has placed in this tournament. All wrestlers scored team points against considerably larger schools.

On December 7 the team defeated Sherwood 60-22. On December 11 the team participated in the Smithville tournament. The team finished 6th. December 14 was the Holden Dual. Blackhawks were defeated 34-36. December 16 the Toshiba duals were held at Hale arena. Adrian 66 vs North Platte 18.

Coach Campbell said, “Overall the first part of the year has been very positive. The boys are working hard, and are doing the right things to prepare for districts and state. We have a good mix of veterans and newcomers. The team has set their goals high and have been working very hard to attain them. With everyone healthy and in the line up where they need to be we should be both a good tournament and dual team.”
