In spite of the heat and busyness of lives, well over 600 people attended the 2010 Bates County Memorial Hospital Health Fair held on July 13th & 14th in the Education Center at BCMH. Participants (pictured right) had the opportunity to have free blood test screenings and wellness screenings, carpal tunnel screening and osteoporosis heel screenings. This community service represents a savings to each participant of over $430, totaling approximately $268,000 in laboratory screenings alone.

Far right: Pam Gray of Adrian has her blood drawn at the BCMH Health Fair. Drawing her blood is Phlebotomist Nanette Newkirk.
