Kimminau gives back to Emerson Elementary in Joplin
By MICHELE BURRIS
Caitlin Kimminau is a junior at Adrian High School and an FCCLA member. This summer Caitlin delivered food to workers in Joplin, where an F5 tornado destroyed many homes and businesses, including Emerson Elementary School. She also volunteered her time in Joplin, along with FCCLA Advisor Julie Carr. Caitlin said, “By seeing the destruction in Joplin, I realized I could help give back. I know how much a teacher’s classroom means to him/her, so I decided to raise money for Emerson Elementary as my FCCLA service project.”
