FFA Trap Shooters place at State Meet

The top five trap shooters from this year's Adrian FFA trap shooting squads participated in the 2009 Missouri Trap Shooters Association High School Trap Shoot. The team of Ethan Cumpton, Wyatt Cumpton, Phillip Gregg, Phillip Miller, and Dakota Peffly placed 18th of 62 FFA squads competing. All shooters must shoot 4 rounds of 25 for 100 total rounds. Wyatt Cumpton shot a perfect round of 25 in his third round. He joins Dakota Peffly who shot a perfect round during district competition, to be the only two Adrian FFA members to shoot perfect rounds in competition this year. The state trap shoot was held on the grounds of the Missouri Trap Shooters Association grounds near Linn Creek, MO this past Saturday, April 25. A total of 235 5-member youth shooting squads participated in this year’s shoot.
