FCCLA does well at STAR Event contest



The Adrian Chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) has had a busy beginning to the second semester. On January 21st three members, Haley Bass, Mackenzie Deal and Taylor Diehl along with their advisor, Mrs. Carr, traveled to La Monte High School for the Region 12 officer elections. Haley ran for and was elected as the region 12 president. Taylor and Mackenzie served as the Adrian FCCLA chapter voting delegates.
February 3rd, seventeen members and their advisor attended the FCCLA STAR Event Contest at UCM in Warrensburg, MO. STAR stands for Students Taking Action with Recognition. The Adrian chapter did well in contest
Through participation in projects, activities, contest and officer positions, members have a chance to develop many skills such as organization, management, teamwork, communication and leadership. All of these skills are necessary as leaders in the family, career and community (FCCLA).
