Adrian's 6th Graders recycle for a cause

The Adrian 6th graders have been doing their part to save the Earth this year. They have been recycling cans, cardboard, plastic and magazines during the past nine months. Parents, faculty and students have all contributed to our cause. Then, Bates County Industries of Butler (BCI) has graciously picked up our recyclable items all year.
After reading a book entitled “The Man Who Loved Clowns,” which was about a boy who worked at a sheltered workshop, the students decided to donate their “can” money to our area workshop. The 6th grade classes were able to donate $40.00 to BCI.
