This last weekend Adrian Robotics traveled to Omaha, Nebraska to compete in their first ever VEX National Competition. Teams came from all across the United States for the honor of competing. Arriving Thursday, the team worked on their robot until practice opened. That night was devoted just to practice. Friday morning brought the actual competition. Each of the 49 teams went through eight qualifying rounds over Friday and Saturday with alliance rounds starting Saturday afternoon.

Jim Hogan commented, “Although our team finished out of the trophy round, I am so proud of our ability to qualify for this event our first year. This has given our students a lot of insight into how to design, develop and improve on their robotic creation. These events open many doors for my students.”
