Adrian FFA participates in National FFA Week

Adrian’s FFA Chapter celebrated this year’s National FFA Week in style! Members and other high school students participated in dress-up days, canned food drives, and other community activities. National FFA Week was held from February 19th – 26th . To kick off the week, members attended the Adrian Christian Church on Sunday. Wednesday, Ag students put on a petting zoo for the elementary kids and Thursday members collected canned food for the Bates County Food Pantry. As a last hurrah, members attended the Midwestern Farm Show at the American Royal as well as a truck and tractor pull in Kemper Arena on Friday. All and all, the week was a huge success. “Promoting agricultural awareness in the school and throughout our community is one of our biggest priorities this year,” says Rebecca Keating, President of the Adrian Chapter, “and I feel we did a great job of it this week.”
