Adrian FFA involved in area activities

Recently, the Adrian FFA chapter has been involved in several area activities. To name a few, members have attended the Area VII Barnwarming and a Chapter Degree Ceremony in Warrensburg. Not to mention FFA members are looking forward to their annual barnwarming.
As previously mentioned, Adrian members were also involved in the Chapter Degree Ceremony at Warrensburg High School on Thursday, September 17th. There, 10 members earned their chapter degrees, the next rank above a greenhand in their chapter. Secretary Myiah Winn, one of the officers at the ceremony commented that “It was a fun experience that I gained useful knowledge from.”
Along with enjoying past events, the members are also occupied with planning for this years chapter barnwarming dance. New ideas and changes of traditional practices have been recommended and a good deal of these were accepted at the October FFA meeting. Trying out these new ideas on this year’s barnwarming promises to liven things up a bit and everyone is excited. Saturday, November 7th is the planned date and it is scheduled to continue from 8-ll p.m. Members on the barnwarming committee are decorating the old gym in an old school “Dukes of Hazzard’ theme for the event. Midway’s new FFA chapter has been invited to the dance as well as Ballard and Drexel. Adrian’s members hope that this will encourage the new chapters and get them off to a good start.
