Adrian 7th graders honored for academic excellence

Two 7th grade students from Adrian R-III were invited to participate in the Duke Talent Search. Collin Brewster (left) and Conrad Walley (right) are among the 67,000 academically talented 7th graders who took the SAT or ACT through the Duke University Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP) in late 2009 and early 2010. To be considered for Duke TIP, students must score in the 95th percentile or above on a grade-level achievement test.

Many of the 7th graders taking the SAT or ACT will earn scores that will rival or surpass those achieved by the older college-bound students taking the exams.
