Verlinda Hazel Rich, age 97 of Lexington, Missouri formerly of Butler, Missouri died Monday, August 3, 2009 at the Lexington Care Center in Lexington. She was born June 19, 1912 to Hiram George and Gertie Cecil Moore Cummings in Butler.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2009 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler, Missouri with Dr. Terry Davis officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. Contributions to Butler First Baptist Church, American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
